If you are in business of any sort, it is important to advertise so you can get your product, or service, out in front of the public's eye. Research has shown that an individual must see an advertisement an average of 7 times before they will be moved to act upon it.

The following traffic strategies all fall under content advertising technique:

- Posting articles to Squidoo, Hubpages or Blogger
- Posting articles to your own blog or content website
- Press release
- Paid reviews at other people’s website
- Yahoo answers
- Social bookmarking at Facebook,Google Adwords Digg, Propeller etc
- Post videos in video sites
- Posting comments in forums
